What should I do if I'm a victim of a scam?

Sadly, blockchain transactions are irreversible — if funds are stolen, they usually cannot be recovered. The most important first steps after suspecting a compromise:

  1. Immediately disconnect the wallet from any suspicious dApp, site, or service it may have interacted with.
  2. Before moving the remaining funds, assess the likely nature of the compromise — which permissions or approvals may have been granted, and what risks they create.
  3. Contact the support team of the wallet you're using. They can help you assess the threat and recommend next steps for protecting your remaining funds.
  4. If safe to do so, move any remaining funds to a new, clean wallet.

As a rule, STON.fi cannot help recover stolen funds or undo the effects of a wallet compromise — those are wallet-level concerns. However, you can still contact STON.fi support if you need to report a scam resource connected to the STON.fi ecosystem, or if you simply need orientation on what to do next.

Report the incident in the official STON.fi Telegram group or help center to help warn others. Learning from the experience is the strongest protection against future attacks.

Submit a request via the help center (requires an email address).

Contact support on Telegram (requires a Telegram account).
