Can I use a hardware wallet with STON.fi?

Yes. STON.fi works with any TON wallet that supports TON Connect, including wallets that you've paired with a hardware device like a Ledger. For larger amounts of Gram (formerly Toncoin), STON, or LP positions, a hardware wallet is strongly recommended.

The common setup

  1. Set up your hardware wallet (e.g., Ledger) and install the TON app on it. See the device manufacturer's documentation for the latest steps.
  2. Pair the hardware wallet with a TON Connect–compatible wallet — Tonkeeper supports Ledger pairing. Follow Tonkeeper's official guide at tonkeeper.com.
  3. Connect Tonkeeper to STON.fi as you would normally. All transactions will need to be confirmed on the hardware device itself.

Ledger + STON.fi liquidity

Why it's worth it

  • Your private keys never leave the hardware device, even when you sign a transaction.
  • Phishing sites and malicious dApps can't drain a hardware wallet without you physically confirming the transaction on-device.
  • Seed-phrase recovery still works the same way — keep your seed phrase offline and never share it.

Hardware-wallet support evolves quickly across TON wallets — for the current list of supported devices and pairing steps, always check your wallet's official documentation.
