Yes. STON.fi works with any TON wallet that supports TON Connect, including wallets that you've paired with a hardware device like a Ledger. For larger amounts of Gram (formerly Toncoin), STON, or LP positions, a hardware wallet is strongly recommended.
The common setup
- Set up your hardware wallet (e.g., Ledger) and install the TON app on it. See the device manufacturer's documentation for the latest steps.
- Pair the hardware wallet with a TON Connect–compatible wallet — Tonkeeper supports Ledger pairing. Follow Tonkeeper's official guide at tonkeeper.com.
- Connect Tonkeeper to STON.fi as you would normally. All transactions will need to be confirmed on the hardware device itself.
Ledger + STON.fi liquidity
For a walkthrough on using Ledger with STON.fi liquidity provision specifically, see: Liquidity provision with Ledger.
Why it's worth it
- Your private keys never leave the hardware device, even when you sign a transaction.
- Phishing sites and malicious dApps can't drain a hardware wallet without you physically confirming the transaction on-device.
- Seed-phrase recovery still works the same way — keep your seed phrase offline and never share it.
Hardware-wallet support evolves quickly across TON wallets — for the current list of supported devices and pairing steps, always check your wallet's official documentation.
