How local communities work and how to start one

This article focuses specifically on starting a new local-language community. For an overview of existing local communities, see local communities. For ways to participate in the wider community, see the Community & Ambassadors section.

Want to start a new local community?

If you don't see your language represented and you'd like to help build it, here's how to start the conversation:

  1. Reach out to STON.fi support via the Submit a request form, or contact @stonbassadorsupport on Telegram.
  2. Tell us about the audience — what country/language, how big the local TON or DeFi scene is, and where prospective members already hang out.
  3. Share your background — moderation experience, community work you've done, time you can commit.

If there's clear demand and a credible lead willing to moderate, we'll work with you to set up the official channel and group, link them from the official channel list, and help amplify the launch.

For the current list of active local communities, always rely on the official Linktree (linktr.ee/ston.fi) rather than a hand-maintained list — it's the source of truth for STON.fi's official channels.
