Staking on STON.fi lets you lock STON for a fixed period and receive rewards that are credited at the moment of staking, not gradually over time. You choose the lock period (3, 6, 12, or 24 months) when you stake.
What you receive when you stake
- GEMSTON — paid out as a one-time reward at the moment you create the stake. The amount depends on how much STON you stake and the lock period you choose.
- ARKENSTON — a soulbound NFT you receive automatically alongside your stake. It represents your voting power in the STON.fi DAO and lets you participate in governance and proposals.
How to participate in governance
Once you hold ARKENSTON, you can create and vote on DAO proposals at dao.ston.fi.
Unlocking
Your staked STON remains locked for the period you selected. When that period ends, you can unstake and your STON returns to your wallet. No additional GEMSTON is paid at unstake time — rewards are paid only at the moment of staking.
