Can I withdraw from a liquidity pool at any time?

Yes — in most cases, you can withdraw from a liquidity pool on STON.fi whenever you want. Funds are controlled by smart contracts, and your LP tokens act as your claim on the pool. STON.fi itself does not impose fixed lock-up periods on liquidity providers.

That said, some external factors can create a "lock" effect:

  • If you joined a farming program, that program may have a lock-up period before LP tokens can be removed.
  • In rare cases of smart-contract upgrades, governance may temporarily pause withdrawals to prevent exploits.
  • If the pool's pair contains a token that has been restricted in the STON.fi interface — for example, a token with a warning icon and the message "This pool contains a token that impersonates another token. Swaps through this pool are unavailable." — withdrawal of LP tokens for that pool will be blocked. This is a protective measure to shield users from fraudulent or impersonator tokens.

Another risk comes from impermanent loss and low liquidity: even after you withdraw, the value of your tokens may differ significantly from the value of what you originally provided. That's why experienced liquidity providers check both technical and market conditions before exiting.
